Welcome to 'Singing for the Brain'

‘Singing for the Brain’ is a therapeutic and social activity for people who have memory difficulties, and their carers. More than just a sing-along, SFTB sessions aim to stimulate both mind and body. The atmosphere is fun and informal offering plenty of opportunity for those taking part to meet new friends and to provide help and support to one another.

As a trained Singing for the Brain facilitator, I work with both The Alzheimers Society and Sing for Your Life, which supports a network of social and community music groups known as ‘Silver Song Clubs’. I am also available to work with other local health and wellbeing initiatives and have recently worked with The Wellbeing Centre, Frimley.
